   Congrats to all the hard working volunteers! This sad event has resulted in giving the Cooktown History Centre an heightened awareness of events that can go sadly wrong!

      That’s right Marje, it’s always good to revisit your disaster plan in light of knowledge gained by these events. And as we approach another cyclone season, now is as good a time as any to have a practice and review!
