1. Scales & Tales Reptile Workshop

Come and join herpetologist and wildlife photographer Steve Wilson at the museum in a small group workshop experience like no other, exploring the amazing diversity and incredible adaptations of reptiles. Experience first-hand how the Museum scientists identify different species.

2. I Do Love a Clue!

Collect a clue sheet filled with love poems, hunt for hidden objects, and solve the love mystery! Once your heart is full, you can then create a special present and letter to take home to a person you love.

3. Explore at SparkLab

Follow your curiosity and bring out your inner scientist at our interactive science exhibition, SparkLab. See live science experiments at the Science Bar or test out your design and problem solving skills in our newest Maker Space challenge, Move it!

4. Interact with OMNIPRESENCE

Step inside OMNIPRESENCE and become a part of the installation. As your image becomes blurred by multilayered reflections, the perception of time becomes distorted and the images of you are no longer controlled by your actions!

5. Be a Backyard Detective

Explore Toowoomba’s Cobb+Co Museum with activities and exhibits the whole family will love, including school holiday program Backyard Detective GROW. 

Solve the mystery trail around the museum and use your GROW pack to start your very own backyard garden. 

This program costs $6.50 and is on daily from 19 September – 5 October.

6. Head online to for some crazy animal antics

Visit Museum at Home each Monday and Friday during the school holidays where we’ll be talking about some amazing animals and their super-cool talents.

Each animal is teamed up with fun craft or science activity for you to try at home using simple ingredients and materials.
