Blue Shield Australia Disaster Recovery Workshop – Townsville

Don’t forget tomorrow is the last day to RSVP for the Blue Shield Australia Disaster Recovery Workshop being held at the Museum of  Tropical Queensland (Qld Museum) in Townsville on May 16.  This is the only workshop being held in Queensland so if you are able to attend please RSVP by tomorrow.  Please see the Blue Shield Australia website for all details including contact for RSVP.

The aim of these interactive workshops is to :

  • provide a formal framework and mechanisms for sharing disaster management expertise and resources between regional cultural organisations
  • enhance community based disaster preparedness and response through the development and promotion of local disaster networks
  • build resilience in regional cultural heritage preservation
